Non-ionizing Radiation
Red light therapy uses non-ionizing radiation, and normal use will not cause harm to the human body.
Its principle is to generate a thermal effect through specific wavelengths of red light
(620–750 nanometers), promoting blood circulation or relieving local pain.
It belongs to the category of physical therapy and is fundamentally different from harmful radiation
such as X-rays and ultraviolet rays.

The Principle and Safety of Red Light Therapy
- Visible light characteristics:
Red light belongs to the visible light spectrum, has low energy, and limited penetration,
acting only on the surface and shallow tissues of the skin. - Radiation type distinction:
- Non-ionizing radiation (such as red light and radio waves):
The energy is insufficient to break chemical bonds or damage DNA, and is considered safe for the human body. - Ionizing radiation (such as X-rays and nuclear radiation):
High energy that may damage cells or increase cancer risk.
- Non-ionizing radiation (such as red light and radio waves):
Heat Therapy Function
Red light therapy utilizes the gentle heat generated by red light to soothe muscles or joints,
similar to ordinary heat patches, while incorporating phototherapy technology for enhanced therapeutic effects.
